SkyMind AI Organizes QvaPay's P2P Forex Marketplace
SkyMind, our in-house engine in final development, completes assisted purchases by card, vendor payments by bank, and withdrawals on the peer market, and records every step.

Some requests a customer can’t complete alone: a solar kit from a U.S. seller that exports to Cuba but can’t charge a Cuban card, an invoice from a U.S. exporter that expects a wire, pesos for rent. QvaPay completes them on the customer’s instruction. Erich built SkyMind to run that work, and it’s almost ready to ship.
Three assisted services, three rails
- Assisted purchases, by card. The customer picks the item. SkyMind buys it with a QvaPay card on the customer’s behalf and debits their QUSD.
- Assisted vendor payments, by bank. A business asks QvaPay to pay a U.S. exporter or seller. SkyMind assembles the invoice and export documents, our compliance officer releases the payment, and it leaves QvaPay’s U.S. bank by wire.
- Assisted withdrawals, on the peer market. A holder in Cuba wants pesos. SkyMind matches them with a screened peer at the live rate, within limits per order, per day, and per counterparty. The peer pays the pesos from their own funds. QvaPay never handles cash or pesos.
| Service | Legitimate | Bad actor, and what happens |
|---|---|---|
| Assisted purchase | A daughter in Tampa buys a battery bank for her parents in Cienfuegos. | Ten “gifts” a week to the same address from different accounts. Bouncer flags the pattern for our compliance officer. |
| Vendor payment | A Holguín installer pays a Miami distributor for panels against its invoice. | The invoice names a shell company abroad as payee, with no goods behind it. Refused. |
| Assisted withdrawal | A mother in Bayamo turns the QUSD her son sent into pesos for medicine. | A peer quotes an outlier rate to skim the trade. SkyMind prices against the live book and offers the next screened peer. |
The treatment of the P2P exchange itself is the subject of QvaPay’s interpretive-guidance request pending with OFAC. The exchange runs under full controls and no authorization is asserted.
Every assisted request is screened by Sentinel, monitored by Bouncer, and written to the ledger. SkyMind is software with rules, limits, and a perfect memory: what assisted payments need when a U.S.-registered company stands behind them.
AI built by a U.S. company with Cuban talent, completing U.S. payments under U.S. law: that’s how two founders serve a market headed for tens of billions of dollars.
SkyMind completes the three assisted flows: card purchases, bank payments to U.S. vendors and peer withdrawals.
| Flow | How we grow it | U.S. tech meets Cuban talent |
|---|---|---|
| Assisted purchases U.S. payer: §515.533 with SCP · from a Cuban balance: pending with OFAC | SkyMind completes card purchases on the customer’s behalf; more U.S. merchants, more categories. | Cuban buyers get U.S. goods and software without a card of their own. |
| Assisted vendor payments QvaPay's reading of §515.533/§515.421 · pending with OFAC | SkyMind will pay U.S. exporters by wire from QvaPay's U.S. bank; a Florida logistics hub shortens delivery. | U.S. exporters sell solar panels, tools, and machines to Cuban private businesses. |
| Assisted withdrawals Pending with OFAC · peer pays from own funds | SkyMind routes each withdrawal to a screened peer who pays from their own funds. | Dollars become pesos in hand from a peer's own funds; QvaPay never pays into a Cuban bank. |
The potential. Remittances into Cuba run an estimated $1.1–2B a year (2024; estimates vary). At the Dominican Republic’s rate per person, Cuba would receive about $9.8B, five to nine times today. That is the market QvaPay is built to serve.
| Market | Cuba today | Cuba at the Dominican Republic’s rate per person |
|---|---|---|
| Remittances received | $1.1–2B 2024 est., estimates vary | $9.8B DR total $11.9B (2025) |
A scenario, not a forecast. The Dominican Republic received $11.9B in remittances in 2025 across 11.4 million people, about $1,040 a person; at that rate Cuba’s 9.43 million people would receive about $9.8B a year, five to nine times today. Method and sources.
