Status

Cuba's only operating lead-zinc mine and its only modern mine (built 2015-17, US$278M). Output fell 2020-21 despite capacity — USGS documents a spare-parts and equipment bottleneck. Needs working capital and a parts supply chain; the adjacent Santa Lucía deposit is the follow-on reserve.
