Crypto Teller: QvaPay's AI-Optimized Crypto Processor

A lot of dollars reach Cuba as stablecoins. Most compliance programs lose sight of them at the processor: an amount comes through, the sender doesn't. We built our own processor so that never happens on QvaPay.

What it does

Crypto Teller, built in-house, gives each deposit its own address, writes the transaction hash to the record at execution, and broadcasts no withdrawal until Sentinel clears the destination address. It runs on the same AI stack as Sentinel and Bouncer, and every case goes to our compliance officer.

FlowLegitimateBad actor, and what happens
RemittanceA nephew in Miami sends USDC to his aunt in Camagüey.The deposit comes from a wallet on the SDN list. Never credited: blocked and reported to OFAC.
Business fundingA workshop's buyer abroad pays an invoice in USDC.Dozens of small deposits from fresh wallets to stay under thresholds. Every address is on the record; Bouncer sees the pattern the same day.
WithdrawalA developer moves her earnings to her own wallet.A withdrawal to an address tied to a blocked party. Never broadcast; rejected and reported to OFAC.

At Uphold and Airtm, crypto compliance meant stitching vendors together and asking analysts to reconcile what each one saw. The risk lived in the gaps. Erich built Crypto Teller so the record is complete by construction.

Every stablecoin dollar on the record is a dollar a U.S. bank can stand behind, and one that can grow with Cuba’s private sector.

The potential. Remittances into Cuba run an estimated $1.1–2B a year (2024; estimates vary). At the Dominican Republic’s rate per person, Cuba would receive about $9.8B, five to nine times today. That is the market QvaPay is built to serve.

A scenario, not a forecast. The Dominican Republic received $11.9B in remittances in 2025 across 11.4 million people, about $1,040 a person; at that rate Cuba’s 9.43 million people would receive about $9.8B a year, five to nine times today. Method and sources.
